What this lets you do

Always on — no re-enabling between sessions

Flip "Always allow" once in Claude's connector settings and Shape's tools are available every time you open a conversation. No toggling the connector on before each chat.

See all your training in Claude Desktop

Runs, lifts, hikes, yoga, swims, walks. Apple Health collects them all. Ask Claude what you've actually been doing and get an honest picture — without leaving the desktop app or exporting anything.

Plan in chat, start on your Apple Watch

Ask Claude to plan a session and it lands on your Apple Watch via Apple Health, ready to start with one tap. After the workout, the completed activity flows back into Shape automatically.

Recover smarter

Tell Claude how you're feeling and it can compare it to what your Apple Health workouts say about your last few weeks: volume, intensity, frequency. No guessing about whether to push or back off.

Setup in 3 steps

  1. 1

Sign up for Shape and connect Apple Health

Sign up for Shape (14-day free trial included), install the Shape iOS app, and grant access to Apple Health. Your workout history flows in across every sport Apple Health tracks. Turn on planned workout sync and any session you plan gets pushed to your Apple Watch automatically.

  2. 2

Add Shape as a connector in Claude

In Claude (desktop or claude.ai), go to Settings → Connectors → Add Connector. Enter https://shapecalendar.com/mcp, click connect, and approve the Shape consent screen that opens in your browser. Flip "Always allow" on so Claude doesn't ask permission every time you call a tool.

  3. 3

    Start using it

Start a new conversation, double-check your Shape connector is on, and try a prompt from below. Workouts you plan land on your watch automatically.

Example prompts

  • Pull my Apple Health workouts for the last 30 days. What kind of training am I actually doing the most of?
  • Look at my last two weeks of training in Apple Health. Am I building fitness or digging a hole?
  • Plan me a 4-week base block. I already lift twice a week, so build around that.
  • How has my training volume been trending the last 4 weeks? Should I back off this week?
  • Build me an 8-week 10K plan that fits around my existing strength and yoga days.
  • Compare this month's training load to last month. Be honest.
  • What was my longest workout in the last 30 days, and how does it compare to my average?
  • Suggest tomorrow's session based on the last 3 workouts I logged in Apple Health.
