Find missing data
Updated November 1, 2026
A workout passes from your device to its app, then to Shape. Check each step in order.
Check it step by step
- 1
Is it in the original app?
Look in Garmin Connect, Apple Health, Wahoo or Intervals.icu. If it isn’t there, your watch hasn’t synced yet, and Shape can’t see it either.
- 2
Is that source connected?
Check Settings → Connections. On Garmin, also check the permissions: see Garmin connected but nothing shows.
- 3
Is it old?
Garmin only shares 30 days before you connected. For anything older, import your full Garmin history.
- 4
Read it again
New data arrives on its own. For the connections that offer it, open the source in Settings → Connections and press Sync now to re-read the last 30 days.
Sleep or health data is missing
- On Garmin, health data needs its own permission. See Garmin connected but nothing shows.
- In Apple Health, check that Shape is allowed to read that type of data.
- Your device has to measure it in the first place.
