A workout didn't reach my watch
Updated November 1, 2026
Planned workouts reach each device differently. Here’s what to check for yours.
Garmin
Look in Garmin Connect first. Shape only writes there, so your watch has to sync with Connect to pick it up. If it isn’t in Connect, open the workout in Shape and press Sync to Garmin.
Apple Watch
Automatic sync covers the next 7 days. Check Sync to Apple Watch is on in Settings → Connections → Apple Health, and that you accepted the permission prompt. It needs watchOS 10 or newer.
Wahoo
Check Wahoo shows as connected in Settings → Connections. Then open the workout and press Sync to Wahoo to send it again.
COROS, Suunto and others
Check Send planned workouts is on for Intervals.icu, then look for the workout on your Intervals.icu calendar. Polar watches can’t receive them.
It showed up twice
Two things are sending to the same watch. That happens when Shape sends to both a linked Garmin and Wahoo, or when another platform’s plan goes to the same watch. Turn one of them off.
The steps look wrong
Not every watch supports every kind of step, so some may look different on your watch. If something looks off, contact us and tell us which workout.
