Sync Shape to your calendar

Updated November 1, 2026

See your training next to the rest of your week. Subscribe to your Shape feed in Apple Calendar or Google Calendar, and changes you make in Shape follow on their own.

What shows up

  • Planned workouts with your notes and steps. If you add a time, the event starts then and lasts as long as the workout’s duration, or an hour if it has none. Without a time, it’s an all-day event. If you travel, a 7:00 workout still reads 7:00.
  • Completed workouts at the time you did them, with duration, distance, speed, heart rate, power, elevation and load when the workout has them.
  • A planned workout you’ve completed shows once, as the completed workout.

The feed includes your past workouts too, not just what’s coming up. In Apple Calendar, each event also links to the workout in Shape.

Set it up

  1. 1

    Turn on Calendar sync

Go to Settings → Calendar sync, or to the same setting in the iPhone app. Your link appears once it’s on.

  2. 2

    Add it to your calendar

    • Apple Calendar: press Subscribe and confirm in Calendar.
    • Google Calendar: copy the link. On a computer, open Google Calendar, press + next to Other calendars, choose From URL and paste it. It then shows on your phone too.

It only goes one way

Your calendar shows what’s in Shape, so make changes in Shape. Editing or deleting an event in your calendar app doesn’t change the workout, and Shape can’t see anything else in your calendar.

The feed isn't updating

The feed updates every 30 minutes. After that, it’s up to your calendar app to fetch it:

  • Apple Calendar is the most reliable, since you can set it to refresh every 5 minutes.
  • Google Calendar updates less often, and you can’t change how often.
